Rob Currie has been appointed as Director of Fellows Liaison

We are delighted to announce that Rob Currie, Chair of the ISRM Canada Chapter, has been appointed to the new position of Director of Fellows Liaison.

The ISRM global network of Fellows is one of our richest and most valued assets, and we are looking forward to developing those connections on a personal, regional and global level.

Rob had a strong career with the Royal Canadian Mounted police, where he led a number of national security and criminal directorates, followed by a senior management position at the Bank of Canada.

He has held senior management positions at a number of Canadian institutions, and since 2020 has headed his own strategic risk management consultancy.

Rob is also a world-class Brazilian jiu jitsu practitioner, teacher and competitor, and most recently won two gold medals in the Masters Division in the European Championships in Barcelona.
