L5 PMME Rugby World Cup COO Stephen Brown

We are delighted to announce that Stephen Brown, Chief Operating Officer of Rugby League World Cup 2021, will be a guest speaker on the Level 5 Award in Planning and Management of Major Events. As COO, Stephen is responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership and support across the operations and business functions, including leading on the procurement process and overseeing all contracting across RLWC2021.

Stephen joins Michael Fuller, responsible for the development of the London 2012 Olympics National Coordination Centre; Paul Case, responsible for the development of the manned guarding programme for Dubai 2020 and Andy Hollinson, CEO of specialist event and crowd management consultancy The Square Metre.

The course material will provide participants with a rich store of frameworks, templates and best practices that they can apply to their own event, whatever their scale or context.
