We are excited to kick off this series with a virtual discussion from the Southern California Chapter focused on cultivating personal resilience, led by Dr. Denise Kruszewski and Brian von Kraus.
As risk managers, we are all familiar with resiliency in terms of business continuity, i.e. return to normal operations and recovery of data. However, one critical component is often overlooked - the role of a leader in implementing these plans.
Personal resiliency is cultivated over time before a crisis, it is trained and developed within human beings. And no plan will survive first contact if leaders do not have the capacity to implement them.
Join us Wednesday, October 21, at 10:00am PT / 1:00pm ET to dive deeper into:
Every organization, ultimately, is a group of people working together. Resiliency, at its heart, is human.
Our guest, Dr. Kruszewski, was the first embedded civilian psychologist for the Marine Special Operations Command at Camp Pendleton and has since founded her own practice, the Center for Stress Recovery and Resilience. She and Brian von Kraus, ISRM SoCal Chapter Chair and CEO of Firewatch Solutions, will share the importance of cultivating resilience as an everyday activity and how leaders can build resiliency within themselves and their teams.
Hope to see you there!
