International Women's Month - Panel on Allyship

Join us for a special International Women’s Day event organized by the Institute of Strategic Risk Management (ISRM) and ASIS International Canada.

The webinar, entitled "International Women’s Month – Panel on Allyship" will be introduced by ISRM Executive Director, Dr David Rubens.

 

The panelists are highly experienced professionals who bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise in promoting diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.

Chelsey Herman is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Culture Ambassador at Axis Communications. She also leads the ASIS Toronto DE&I Committee, making her a valuable asset in the promotion of diversity and inclusivity.

Don von Hollen is a seasoned Innovation & Security Management executive who believes in the power of communication and empathy to drive change. He has a proven track record of delivering simple and effective security solutions, while always keeping the interests of clients and team members at the forefront.

Katalina Reynolds is a Senior Security Risk Manager who is dedicated to ensuring a great customer experience for security stakeholders. She has extensive experience managing security programs on a global level and is passionate about making security an integral part of a company's DNA.

Sarah Hayes is a fellow of the CIPD with over 25 years of HR experience. She combines her operational expertise, passion for people and her interest in diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement to drive positive outcomes for organizations.

Ceres Silva is currently the Canadian Sales Director for Eagle Eye Networks with more than16 years' experience in the security industry. BBA, MBA degrees and fluent in four languages, Ceres also holds an APP certification from ASIS and a Cyber Security graduation from the University of Toronto. Currently a chair of WIS -Toronto chapter, ASRVP of ASIS Canada and a council member of CANASA Central, she is also part of the SIA Women in Security Forum and a founding member of Immigrant Women in Business of Canada. In her volunteer work, Ceres is an active champion of introducing girls to technology, connecting women professionals with companies that put diversity and inclusion first and provide an environment of belonging.

The panel will explore topics such as fostering dialogue and understanding between members of different backgrounds, ensuring policies and practices reflect our commitment to diversity, and making sure everyone feels welcome and respected in the workplace. Our experts will also share key takeaways for organizations to make allyship a part of their culture.

The webinar will conclude with an audience Q&A session, giving you the chance to ask questions and share your own experiences.
